OneTwoCup is developed and operated by Enrique Alvarado Valle, operating as Between Sips.

2. Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the OneTwoCup mobile application, the Between Sips website, and related services provided by Between Sips.

3. Accounts

OneTwoCup does not require you to create an account or sign in. The application is designed so that its core coffee evaluation features can be used without creating an online user profile.

4. Information stored on your device

OneTwoCup allows you to create and manage information such as cupping sessions, coffee sample information, scores, descriptors, comments, presets, evaluator information, and app settings.

This information is primarily stored locally on your device. Between Sips does not currently operate a cloud account or server database that automatically receives your cupping sessions or evaluation data.

5. Files and exports

OneTwoCup can create files such as reports, CSV files, Excel files, or other exports containing information from your sessions.

These files are generated at your request. If you choose to share, save, email, upload, or otherwise transfer an exported file using another application or service, the privacy practices of that third-party service apply to that transfer.

6. Advertising

The free version of OneTwoCup may display advertising provided through Google Mobile Ads.

When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostic information, and related technical information for purposes including ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

Depending on your location and privacy choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

7. Advertising consent and privacy choices

Where required by applicable law, including in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and certain other jurisdictions, OneTwoCup uses a consent process before requesting advertising where consent is required.

Users may be provided with options to manage or withdraw advertising-related consent. The available options may depend on your region and the advertising services active in the application.

8. Third-party services

OneTwoCup may use third-party software libraries and platform services necessary to provide certain features.

These currently include or may include:

• Google Mobile Ads for advertising and related measurement.
• Apple and Google platform services used to distribute and run the application.
• Device sharing, file handling, and email functionality when you choose to export or share information.

These providers may process technical information according to their own privacy policies and applicable agreements.

9. Website data

The Between Sips website does not currently provide user accounts, contact forms, or a user database.

The website may be hosted through third-party infrastructure providers that can process standard technical information required to deliver a website, such as IP addresses, request metadata, security information, and server logs.

10. Data retention

Cupping sessions, presets, settings, and other locally stored information remain on your device until you delete them through the application, clear the application's data, or uninstall the application, subject to the behavior of your device and operating-system backups.

Between Sips does not currently maintain a central account database containing your locally stored OneTwoCup evaluation data.

Information processed by third-party services, such as advertising providers or hosting providers, may be retained according to their own retention policies.

11. Deleting your data

Because OneTwoCup does not require an account and its core user data is stored locally, you can remove session and preset data using the controls provided in the application.

You can also remove locally stored application data through your device settings or by uninstalling the application.

12. Security

We take reasonable measures to reduce unauthorized access to information handled through our services. However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device and any exported files that contain coffee, evaluator, business, or other information.

13. Children

OneTwoCup is designed as a professional coffee evaluation tool and is not specifically directed to children.

We do not knowingly operate OneTwoCup for the purpose of collecting personal information from children.

14. International processing

Between Sips is operated from Mexico. Some third-party service providers used by the application or website may process information in other countries.

Where required, those providers are responsible for applying appropriate safeguards for their processing activities under applicable law and their agreements with us.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when OneTwoCup, Between Sips, applicable law, or the third-party services we use change.

The latest version will be published at this URL together with the date of the most recent update.
